Tuna Sashimi Sushi

Tuna sashimi sushi is a type of sushi that is made up of thin slices of raw tuna served over a bed of sushi rice. The tuna is usually served with some type of dipping sauce, such as soy sauce, or sometimes a wasabi-based sauce. Tuna sashimi sushi is a popular dish in sushi restaurants and is often served as an appetizer or as part of a larger sushi platter.

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1 pound fresh tuna
  • 4 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Directions

  • Step 1
    Cut the tuna into thin slices.
  • Step 2
    Mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add the cooked sushi rice to the bowl and mix until evenly coated.
  • Step 4
    Place a slice of tuna on top of the sushi rice and shape into a rectangular shape.
  • Step 5
    Repeat with the remaining slices of tuna and sushi rice.
