Thai Green Papaya Salad

Thai Green Papaya Salad, or Som Tam in Thai, is a traditional Southeast Asian dish made from unripened papaya, fish sauce, lime juice, chili peppers, garlic, and sometimes other ingredients such as peanuts, tomatoes, and shrimp. This salad is typically served as an accompaniment to other dishes or as an appetizer. It is known for its spicy and sour flavor, as well as its crunchy texture. The dish is popular in Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia, as well as in other countries that have adopted it.

  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
