Aloo Gobi Curry
Aloo Gobi Curry is a popular and delicious Indian dish. It is made by cooking potatoes, cauliflower, and spices in a flavorful sauce. Ingredients (2 Persons)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable or canola oil
- 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
- 1 onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Directions

Step 1
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the cumin seeds and cook until they are fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until the onion is softened and lightly golden, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the garam masala, coriander, turmeric, and cayenne and cook for 1 minute, stirring often.

Add the cauliflower, potatoes, tomatoes, water, and salt. Bring to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.

Stir in the cilantro and serve.
