Spicy Thai Noodle Bowl

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 8 ounces vermicelli noodles
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar

Directions

  • Step 1
    Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the vermicelli noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  • Step 2
    Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for 30 seconds.

    Add the chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling.

    Stir in the cooked noodles and cook for 1-2 minutes, until they are coated in the sauce.
  • Step 5
    Divide the noodles between four bowls and garnish with fresh herbs, if desired.
