Spicy Korean Stir-Fry

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1 pound beef steak, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 cups cooked white rice

Directions

  • Step 1
    Heat sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add the soy sauce, gochujang, garlic, onion, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the cooked rice and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 4
    Serve the stir-fry hot with extra gochujang, if desired.
