Shrimp Fried Rice

- 4 cups cooked white rice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 pound cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions

Step 1
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic, onion, carrot, and bell pepper and cook until the vegetables are just tender, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the cooked rice, frozen peas, ginger, turmeric, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the rice is heated through, about 5 minutes.
