Shrimp Avocado Sushi Roll

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1 cup cooked sushi rice
  • 4 sheets nori, cut into 4 pieces each
  • 8 cooked shrimp, cut in half
  • 1 avocado, cut into thin slices

Directions

  • Step 1
    Lay a sheet of nori on a sushi rolling mat. Spread 1/4 cup of cooked sushi rice on the nori, pressing it down firmly.
  • Step 2
    Arrange 2 shrimp halves and 2 slices of avocado on top of the rice. Use your fingers to gently press the ingredients into the rice.
  • Step 3
    Roll the mat away from you, pressing firmly to keep the roll tight. Take your time and use your fingers to tuck the ingredients in as you go.
  • Step 4
    Moisten the end of the nori with a bit of water and press it to the roll to seal it. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
