Sesam Chicken stir-fry

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Directions

  • Step 1
    Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until it is no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more.
  • Step 3
    Pour in the chicken broth, soy sauce, honey, and pepper. Stir to combine, then add the sesame seeds.
  • Step 4
    Add the broccoli, carrots, bell pepper, and green onions. Stir to combine and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve over cooked rice or noodles.
