Salmon Maki Sushi

Salmon Maki Sushi is a type of sushi roll made with fresh salmon, rice, and seaweed. It is a popular and delicious type of sushi that is enjoyed by both sushi connoisseurs and those who are new to sushi. Salmon Maki Sushi is usually served with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. It typically consists of a layer of cooked sushi rice, a layer of raw salmon, and a layer of seaweed, all rolled into a log shape. It is then cut into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife.

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1/2 lb of raw salmon, thinly sliced
  • 4 nori sheets
  • 2 cups of cooked sushi rice

Directions

  • Step 1
In a small bowl, combine rice vinegar, sugar and salt. Set aside.

  • Step 3

  • Step 4
Roll the sushi up tightly with the bamboo mat or with your hands, pressing it together as you go.
  • Step 5
Cut the sushi roll into 8 pieces with a sharp knife. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
