Keema Curry
Keema curry is a popular Indian dish made with ground meat (usually lamb or beef), spices, and other ingredients like tomatoes, onions, and garlic. It’s a flavorful and hearty dish that’s perfect for a cold winter day. Keema curry can be served with rice, chapatis, or naan bread. It’s also delicious on its own or as the topping for a veggie bowl. The dish is easy to make and can be adjusted to your personal taste.
Ingredients (2 Persons)
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander

- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup frozen peas

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until the onion is softened and golden, about 5 minutes.

Add the ground beef or lamb to the skillet and cook until it is no longer pink, about 7 minutes. Break the meat into small pieces with a wooden spoon as it cooks.
-
Step 4
Stir in the crushed tomatoes and yogurt, and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cover the skillet and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-
Step 5
Stir in the peas and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes, or until the peas are cooked through.
