Honey-Garlic Glazed Shrimp

1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
1 tablespoon white or apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
Step 2

Add the shrimp to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp is just starting to turn pink.
Step 3

Add the honey, soy sauce, ketchup, sesame oil, ginger, and vinegar to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for 3-4 minutes, until the shrimp is cooked through.
Step 4

Remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the sesame seeds. Serve the shrimp immediately with a sprinkle of sesame seeds, if desired.
