Tuna Avocado Roll Sushi

Tuna Avocado Roll Sushi is a popular type of sushi roll that is made with fresh tuna, avocado, and nori (seaweed). The ingredients are all rolled together inside a nori sheet and then cut into bite-sized pieces for serving. This type of sushi is typically served with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger. It is a delicious and healthy way to enjoy sushi, as the tuna and avocado provide a great source of protein and healthy fats.

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 4 sheets of nori seaweed
  • 1 (5 ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, mix together the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
  • Step 2
    Place the cooked sushi rice in a large bowl and pour the vinegar mixture over the top. Gently fold the vinegar mixture into the rice.
  • Step 3
    Lay one sheet of nori seaweed on a bamboo rolling mat. Spread 1/4 of the sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1/2 inch border at the top.
  • Step 4
    Arrange 1/4 of the tuna and 1/4 of the avocado slices on the rice.
  • Step 5
    Beginning at the bottom of the mat, roll the sushi up tightly. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 4 rolls of sushi.
