Hoisin-Glazed Pork with Rice

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1 pound boneless pork chops, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger root
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups cooked white rice

Directions

  • Step 1
    Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork cubes and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl, whisk together the hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes. Pour the mixture into the skillet and stir to coat the pork cubes.
  • Step 3
    Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the pork cubes are cooked through, about 10 minutes.

    Serve the pork cubes over the cooked white rice.
