Crispy Salmon Roll Sushi

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 4 salmon fillets, skin removed
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 2 sheets nori
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step 2
    Brush the salmon fillets with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Place on the prepared baking sheet.

    Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

    Place one sheet of nori on a sushi mat. Spread 1 cup of cooked sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch gap at the top.
  • Step 5
    Sprinkle the sesame seeds over the rice. Place 1 salmon fillet at the bottom of the nori sheet, close to the edge of the sushi mat.
  • Step 6
    Gently roll the sushi mat away from you, using your hands to shape the salmon roll.
  • Step 7
    Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 3 more salmon rolls.
