Chinese Wonton Soup

- 1 pound ground pork
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts, chopped
- 2 packages wonton wrappers
- 6 cups chicken broth

In a large bowl, mix together the ground pork, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, white pepper, green onions, and water chestnuts.

Lay the wonton wrappers out on a flat surface. Place a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center of each wrapper. Use a small amount of water to wet the edges of the wrapper and fold it over to form a triangle.

Heat the chicken broth in a large pot over medium-high heat. Carefully add the wontons to the broth and cook for 5-7 minutes, until the wontons are cooked through.
