Chinese Sesame Chicken

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cubed
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, combine the cubed chicken and cornstarch. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
  • Step 2
    Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Cook for 3-4 minutes, until the sauce is thick and bubbly.
  • Step 4
    Serve the sesame chicken over cooked rice or noodles.
