Salmon Skin Roll Sushi

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 4 pieces of sushi-grade salmon skin
  • 1/2 cup cooked sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon wasabi paste

Directions

  • Step 1
    Lay out the salmon skin on a flat surface. Spread 1/2 cup of cooked sushi rice over each piece of skin.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle sesame seeds over the rice. Roll up the salmon skin, using your hands to gently press the rice and sesame seeds into the roll.
  • Step 3
    In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and wasabi paste. Dip each roll into the sauce, coating the outside.
  • Step 4
    Cut the rolls into 8 pieces, and serve with extra soy sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
