Miso Soup

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup white miso paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup silken tofu, cut into cubes
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms

Directions

  • Step 1
    Bring the water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Step 2
    Reduce the heat to low and stir in the miso paste, ginger, garlic, and green onions.
  • Step 3
    Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Step 4
    Add the tofu and mushrooms and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve hot.
