Chinese Beef and Broccoli

  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, combine the flank steak, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the steak is evenly coated.
  • Step 2
    Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for 2-3 minutes, until browned.
  • Step 3
    Add the broccoli and beef broth to the skillet. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, until the broccoli is tender.
  • Step 4
    Stir in the honey and rice vinegar and cook for 1-2 minutes, until the sauce is thickened.
