Vegetarian Inari Sushi

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 4 inari (toasted tofu) skins
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions

  • Step 1
    Divide the cooked sushi rice into 4 portions, and stuff each inari skin with rice.
  • Step 2
    To make the sauce, combine the soy sauce, sugar, and sesame oil in a small bowl and mix until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Step 3
    Toast the sesame seeds in a small skillet over medium heat, stirring often, until golden brown and fragrant.
  • Step 4
    Drizzle the sauce over the stuffed inari skins and sprinkle on the toasted sesame seeds.
