Tuna Roll Sushi

Tuna Roll Sushi is a type of sushi roll that is made with raw tuna. It usually consists of tuna, rice, and nori (seaweed). The tuna is often marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar before being rolled up with the other ingredients. The sushi roll is typically served with wasabi, pickled ginger, and soy sauce for dipping. Tuna Roll Sushi can be served as an appetizer or a main dish. It is a popular sushi dish both in Japan and around the world.

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 4 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 4 sheets of nori seaweed
  • 1 can of tuna, drained
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds

Directions

  • Step 1
Prepare the sushi rice according to the instructions on the package.
  • Step 2
Lay one sheet of nori on a clean surface. Spread 1 cup of sushi rice over the surface of the nori, leaving a 1 inch border of nori exposed.
  • Step 3
Flip the nori over so that the rice is now facing down. Place 1/4 of the tuna, avocado, and mayonnaise in a line down the middle of the nori sheet.
  • Step 4
Fold the sides of the nori sheet over the filling, making sure to keep the filling in place. Dip your fingers in a bowl of water to moisten the edges of the nori sheet, then press together to seal the roll.
  • Step 5
Repeat with the remaining sheets of nori, sushi rice, tuna, avocado, and mayonnaise.
  • Step 6
Cut each roll into 8-10 pieces and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger.
