Teriyaki Tofu Bowl

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1 pound extra-firm tofu, drained and pressed
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 cup frozen vegetables, thawed
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

Directions

  • Step 1
    Cut the tofu into cubes. Place the cubes in a shallow dish and pour the teriyaki sauce over the top. Toss to coat. Let the tofu marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Heat the sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tofu cubes and cook for 5-7 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the tofu is golden brown and crispy.
  • Step 3
    Divide the cooked rice among four bowls. Top each bowl with the cooked tofu, thawed vegetables, and green onions. Drizzle with additional teriyaki sauce, if desired.
