Tako Nigiri Sushi

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 4 pieces of octopus, pre-cooked and shredded
  • 4 sheets of nori
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Directions

  • Step 1
    Place the cooked white rice in a bowl and set aside.
  • Step 2
    To make the tako nigiri, take a sheet of nori and cut it in half. Place one half on a cutting board or plate.
  • Step 3
    Place a tablespoon of the cooked white rice over the nori and spread it out evenly.
  • Step 4
    Add a tablespoon of the shredded octopus on top of the rice.
  • Step 5
    Fold the nori over the octopus and rice and press gently.
  • Step 6
    Repeat with the remaining nori, rice, and octopus.
  • Step 7
    Serve the tako nigiri with soy sauce and sesame oil for dipping.
