Spicy Tuna Roll Sushi

Spicy Tuna Roll Sushi is a popular type of sushi that is made with raw tuna and spicy mayonnaise. It is usually served as a hand roll or a maki roll. The roll is made by combining the tuna and spicy mayonnaise, rolling it up in nori seaweed, and then slicing it into individual pieces. It is a great option for sushi lovers who enjoy a bit of heat.

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1/2 pound sushi-grade tuna, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 4 sheets of nori
  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, combine the tuna, mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Step 2
    Lay a sheet of nori on a sushi rolling mat. Spread 1/4 cup of sushi rice over the nori, leaving about 1/4 inch of nori exposed at the top and bottom.
  • Step 3
    On the bottom 1/3 of the nori, place 1/4 of the tuna mixture in a strip.
  • Step 4
    Fold the bottom of the nori over the tuna mixture and use the rolling mat to firmly roll the nori up, pressing the edges together to seal the roll.
  • Step 5
    Repeat with the remaining nori, sushi rice, and tuna mixture to create 4 rolls.
