Spicy Tuna Hand Roll Sushi

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 4 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 4 sheets nori
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 (5-ounce) cans of tuna, drained

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a medium bowl, mix together the tuna and the mayonnaise mixture. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    Lay a sheet of nori on a cutting board with the rough side facing up. Place a handful of the sushi rice on the nori and spread it out evenly.
  • Step 4
    Place a spoonful of the tuna mixture in the center of the nori. Using your fingers, form the mixture into a log shape.
  • Step 5
    Fold the bottom of the nori sheet up over the tuna. Then, fold the right and left sides in to create a handroll shape. Place the handroll on a plate and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
