Korean-Style Marinated Beef

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into thin strips

  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  • Step 2
    Add the beef strips to the bowl and stir to coat with the marinade.
  • Step 3
    Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Step 4
    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef and marinade to the skillet and cook until the beef is cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve with steamed rice and vegetables, if desired.
