Korean Pork Bulgogi

Korean Pork Bulgogi is a popular Korean dish that is made with marinated pork that is grilled or stir-fried. The pork is usually cut into thin strips and marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, and other seasonings. Bulgogi is often served with a side of rice, kimchi, and other side dishes. Bulgogi is a great dish for all occasions, whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion.

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon gochujang
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, gochujang, and black pepper. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Step 2
    Add the sliced pork to the marinade and mix until the pork is coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  • Step 3
    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork and marinade to the skillet and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pork is cooked through.
  • Step 4
    Serve the pork with steamed rice and your favorite sides.
