Korean Bulgogi Beef

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and sesame seeds.
  • Step 2
    Add the steak strips to the bowl and toss to coat. Cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Step 3
    Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and marinade to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is cooked through.
  • Step 4
    Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles.
