Garlic Curry
Masala
Garlic Curry Masala is an Indian spice blend that is used to add flavor and aroma to curries, stews, and other dishes. The blend consists of a variety of spices such as coriander, cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, turmeric, and chili powder. Ingredients (2 Persons)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 (14-ounce) can coconut milk
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 2 cups cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Directions

Step 1
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, ginger, curry powder, cumin, coriander, red pepper flakes, turmeric, and cardamom and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the coconut milk, vegetable broth, chickpeas, and frozen peas. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce has thickened and the flavors have melded together.

Stir in the cilantro and season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked rice, noodles, or your favorite grain.
