Singapore Noodles

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snow peas, trimmed
  • 2 cups bean sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 1 (14 ounce) package thin rice noodles

Directions

  • Step 1
    Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Step 2
    Add the bell pepper and snow peas and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the bean sprouts, soy sauce, sugar, and white pepper. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  • Step 4
    Add the rice noodles and cook, stirring constantly, until the noodles are just cooked through, about 5 minutes. Serve hot.
