Korean Barbecue Beef

Ingredients (2 Persons)

  • 2 pounds beef sirloin steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons mirin
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

  • Step 1
    In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, mirin, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  • Step 2
    Add the sliced beef to the bowl and stir to coat in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  • Step 3
    Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef to the pan in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the beef is cooked through.
  • Step 4
    Serve the beef with steamed rice, kimchi, and other sides of your choice.
